anti-heroes

so Claire's head was cut open and Sylar poked about in her brain. and she was awake at the time, but it's ok because she regenerates and the script can make knowing jokes about the dismally bad Hannibal film. can the cheerleader please save the world for a change (rather than remain trapped in the never-ending sequence of having to be bloody saved)? this could easily be achieved if Joss Whedon was pulled in to rescue the  plot from such cliches.
